Hello, I am Rejection

Hello, I am Rejection.

People don’t like me very much. They say I make them feel sad, lonely, or not good enough. But I am not here to hurt anyone. I have an important job. Do you want to know what it is?

I help people find where they truly belong.

Imagine a key trying to find the right lock. It tries one door, but it doesn’t fit. It tries another, but that one isn’t right either. At first, it might feel like the key is wrong or useless. But I whisper to the key, "Keep going. The right door is waiting for you." And when it finally finds the perfect lock, the door opens, and everything makes sense.

That’s what I do for people, too. When a friend doesn’t invite you to their party, or when you don’t get picked for the team, it might feel like I am being mean. But really, I am just hoping that you can find a friend or a team that truly values you for who you are, people who like you exactly for who you are. Because I know you are amazing.

Sometimes, I protect you. Maybe a door closes because behind it is a place where you wouldn’t be happy. Maybe a person walks away because they were not meant to stay in your life story. I know it stings, but I also know that something better is waiting ahead.

I help people grow. When a writer’s story is not accepted, they write another one, one that is even better. When an inventor’s idea is turned down, they work harder until they make something amazing. I help people become stronger, wiser, and braver.

So, the next time you feel me, don’t be afraid. I am not here to stop you, I am here to push you forward. I am just a part of the journey, leading you to where you are meant to be.

With care,

Rejection
